A first contact with the musical world.
The instrument presentation at the Setúbal Regional Conservatory makes it possible to get to know the different musical instruments and their characteristics more closely. To support this process, we provide videos on our website, organise demonstration and hands-on moments during open days throughout the year, and also bring presentations to schools. Whenever appropriate, trial lessons with our teachers may also be arranged, helping each student make a more informed choice suited to their profile.
Discover and identify.
Choosing an instrument is much more than selecting a sound or an image that appeals to you. It is about discovering a form of expression, a relationship with music and a path each student identifies with. The ideal instrument is often the one that awakens curiosity, enthusiasm and the desire to grow.
For this reason, the choice should be experienced as a process of personal discovery, made with time, attention and openness to different possibilities.
