New applications, entrance assessments and renewals

On this page you will find information about new applications, entrance assessments and renewals at the Setúbal Regional Conservatory across the different training areas available. Each type follows its own procedures, according to the course, level of study and the student’s situation. Review the available options and access the information needed to continue your application process.
New Enrolments
PLEASE NOTE: This application is ONLY for students who are not applying to the Basic Music Course under the Articulated Program.
CRS offers programmes for different ages and pathways, ranging from music for babies and pre-school children to music initiation, basic and secondary courses under the supplementary regime, open courses, orchestras, jazz, modern music and dance.
This enrolment applies to students wishing to attend:
- Dance Course (children and advanced)
- Music for Babies (0–2)
- Music in Pre-school (ages 2 until entry into the 1st cycle)
- Music Initiation (students in the 1st cycle)
- Basic Course (2nd and 3rd cycles) under the Supplementary Regime
- Secondary Course under the Supplementary Regime
- Open Courses (all instruments)
- Orchestras
- Jazz and Modern Music
- Dance (children, over 13s and advanced)
Enrolment must be completed within the defined period, between 26 March and 6 April 2026.
If there are limited places for the chosen instrument, these will be allocated in order of enrolment date.
Before enrolling, you should contact the office in advance to obtain the necessary information and clarify any questions.

To complete the enrolment, it is necessary to:
- Fill in, sign and scan the Statement of Responsibility, available at this link Statement of Responsibility;(opens in a new window)
- Make the payment by bank transfer to IBAN PT50 0035 0774 0007 0471 6306 4, in the amount corresponding to the sum of the applicable fees, as follows:
- €42 annual membership fee for the Cultural Association of the Setúbal Conservatory (mandatory for all students);
- €10 for school health insurance (mandatory for all students);
- €2 deposit for the photocopy card (mandatory for all students, except Pre-school and Dance students);
- €10 credit for the photocopy card, to be used for supporting materials for group and instrument lessons (mandatory for all students, except Pre-school and Dance students).
- Send the duly signed Statement of Responsibility, together with the proof of bank transfer, to areaped@conservatoriosetubal.pt;

Enrolment Renewals
Enrolment renewal applies to all students currently attending the Setúbal Regional Conservatory who wish to continue their studies in the 2026/27 academic year, whether in the same course/regime or in a different course and/or regime.
Renewals must be completed within the established period, from 26 March to 6 April 2026.
After this date, the availability of places in the current regime, study option or instrument cannot be guaranteed.
Where places are limited in the intended regime and/or instrument, they will be allocated according to the date of renewal.
To complete the enrolment, it is necessary to:
- Fill in, sign and scan the Statement of Responsibility, available at this link Statement of Responsibility;(opens in a new window)
- Make the payment by bank transfer to IBAN PT50 0035 0774 0007 0471 6306 4, in the amount corresponding to the sum of the applicable fees, as follows:

Please note:
- It is important to inform the school as soon as possible if you do not intend to renew your enrolment;
- Unless otherwise indicated, any extra classes currently attended by the student will be maintained;
- Any change of Course or Regime must be indicated in the email sent with the Statement of Responsibility and proof of bank transfer, together with information on the classes requested.
Registration for Entry Tests for the Articulated Regime
Students wishing to attend the Basic Course or the Secondary Course under the Articulated Regime are required to sit Entry Tests, so that applicants may be ranked according to their results.
This ranking will be used for the allocation of state-funded places and for the assignment of the chosen instruments, according to the places available.
Registration for the Entry Tests will be open from 1 April to 12 June, and the tests will take place between 22 and 24 June.
